Wasting Time – My Thoughts
I wanted to talk to you fr a little while about wasting time. First of all, I would like to point out that time itself is never wasted. Each and every single moment that we have is a gift. All the time that we have is a gift. Now, what you are doing with that gift is something completely different.
If you choose to waste that gift, that is a waste. Remember when you waste time, you are not only wasting time, but you are also wasting away at your goals, dreams, and ambitions. When you talk about wasting time, you are wasting the time that you could spend on things that are productive.
The average American watches 3 hours of TV per day. That’s 21 hours per week. We spend almost 1 day out of our week watching TV. One whole day. What could you do with one more whole day in your week. If you worked for just minimum wage for that amount of time, you would make another 8,212.50 per year. Wouldn’t we all like another 8 grand per year. It could definitely help with the car payment.
What if you started a business in the time that you spend watching TV every day? You could increase your income by even more, maybe even make what you make full time. You could quit your job when your business can pay for your expenses and grow it even more.
Just think of what you could do if you stopped wasting your time. Here is a way that you can reduce the amount of time that you waste. You will waste some time. There is no doubt about that. But, what you can do is reduce what you waste.
Identify Bad Habits. When you want to reduce the amount of time that you waste, you need to identify where you are wasting time. When you find yourself wasting time, write down what you are doing and how much time you are spending on wasteful things.
Reduce Time Spent On Wasteful Habits. Now that you know where you waste your time, you need to begin reducing the wasteful habits and fill in your newfound time with habits that are more productive.
