The $100 Article – How You Can Create Better Content
I was editing an episode of the B Cubed Show, and I came across a topic that I brought up about content value. I thought that it would be great to share with you and I think that you really could make use of it. You need to be working on your content marketing all the time, but how do you know if the content that you are creating is really good content that people would want to consume? Well, when you are creating content, it important to have some metric for quality. I am not telling to you to a perfectionist. That can stop you from producing in the proper amounts and that wouldn’t be good at all. I am telling you, rather to be sure that you create content of value and do it all the time and consistently.
When you are creating content, consistency is important. People begin to build some type of expectation as to the content that you are going to provide. When you are creating content, you need to figure out how it is going to be of value to the other person. How are you unique? How is the content that you create going to be of value to someone that is taking their valuable time out of their day to read it. Create content for other people. They are the ones, reading it after all.
You need to give people something that they can count on you for. Something that you must do is give people a place to count on for their information that they are looking for. Many people may come to your website or blog from Google. When thy find your content, you are answering their question. If you provide value, and I mean really do something great, you can get them coming back for more. When you create content that is so good that people want to see more of it, you can attract the best type of following: an engaged one. Create content that consistently that stands out as amazing.
Would You Pay For It?
Another question that you should be asking yourself, is “Would you pay to see the content that you are putting out if you were the person wanting to read it?” Is there enough value there? Is there substance to the content that you are creating? If you wouldn’t pay for it, then there isn’t enough value. This rule of thumb can help you make content that is good enough for people to read and provides decent amounts of value.
If you wouldn’t pay for it, there isn’t enough content there. Find something that you could add that you would pay for, then give it away for free. That is the key to creating content. Give. Give people something they can’t get anywhere else and then, and only then, you can begin to work on becoming successful at anything.
How Can You Repeat It?
When you figure out how you can create content that is extremely valuable, the next step is repeating it over and over again and getting a similar result: great content. This is the crucial part to all of this process. This is the process. If you can’t repeat it, you can’t get enough value from it. Consistency and Frequency will be the key to your success. Figure out how you can create a process for creating content that provides consistent value. How can you repeat what you did to create a piece of content for a similar topic and do it over and over again, while not losing that nicheness that comes with an article that provides tons of value all the time?
When you figure out how to provide value, do it consistently, and do it on a daily basis, you have found a rhythm and process for your business.
One of the hard parts of creating content of value, second only to providing value is scaling up. Once you have a process in place, you need to make sure that it is scaleable. If the process that you created doesn’t produce enough content for you to use every day, you need to either increase the amount of time that you are spending on your process of decrease the amount of time for each piece of content. Decreasing the amount of time can be extremely difficult when you need to provide a consistent amount of great value.
Figure out how you are going to create enough content to push out consistent, frequent value for your business and the people that are reading the content, and then implement.
Thanks for reading and remember to be great and never settle for anything less.
