Building a community around your brand is an important thing to do. You really should build a community of people who love what you do. If people love what you are doing, why not get them talking about it. You really should consider getting the people who love you to tell people about it. Today I am going to be talking about building a community around your brand.
Getting The People
Finding the people who love your brand might be a hard thing if you have no current customers. If this is the case, don’t worry. Be sure to get people talking about your brand in some other, positive way. You need to get people talking. That is the goal. If you have an established brand, you need to encourage people to interact with each other. Get them on your social media pages. Twitter and Facebook are great starting places, but you can go further. What about Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Medium, Pariscope, Meerkat, LinkedIn, Google+, and many (trust me), more. Get them talking. Encourage them to talk. Give them an incentive to TALK TO EACH OTHER.
Stir Up Conversation
Be sure that you post to get people talking about what you do. Encourage people to interact with you and with each other. Post things that ask for engagement like questions. If there is no conversation, start it.
Be sure that you are looking at what people are saying. If they are taking to you, respond to them. They are trying to talk to you. If someone called your business, you would not hang up, would you? You would want to help them. Same rule applies here. Help people and be sure to interact with them in a timely manner.
Encourage new people to continue to join your community. Have incentives for joining. People like deals, and if you have good margins, you could help them out when they help you out. Simple as that. Offer an incentive for joining.
