I wanted to write something about Instagram Marketing today because it seems like many people approach Instagram with some idea of what they are doing, but they don’t really know what what they are doing in specific.
When you are marketing on Instagram, or any social network for that matter, you need to be sure that you post frequently. Here’s why:
You need to post frequently to get share of mind and attention for your business.
You want to get whatever you are doing in front of people and to do that, you need to get in front of the people that you want to follow you.
If you don’t post consistently, you can get attention, but then you can’t maintain it. What if people don’t want to buy right when they see your post, but they want to buy later? What if because you failed to maintain a share of their attention they bought from someone else? That would suck. Post consistently and maintain people’s attention.
Social media has the word SOCIAL in it for a reason. When people engage with you, engage with them. Ask questions in your post and engage with the responses.
Have A Great Bio
Your bio is one of the big things that gets people to follow you, only second to great content. Be sure that you create a great, creative bio that tells people about your story while still having fun.
Carve Out Your Niche
When you are posting on Instagram, you need to be sure that you carve out your niche. Post things that make you unique from other accounts. Give people some type of reason to follow you.
