Getting Attention For Your Business On Instagram
Sometimes, it can be hard to see if your social media marketing is working. Many times, business owners will get frustrated with the lack of results on social media and quit. Then, they will say that it doesn’t work. Well, the things that many people overlook is that there must be something wrong with what they are doing on social media. Today, I wanted to create an article that goes into how to get attention for your business on Instagram.
If you want to get any attention for your business on Instagram, you need to be there enough for people to notice you. If you don’t post often enough, you won’t be able to get the results that you want. You need to post often enough for your business to get share of mind. Remember, though, not to spam. People can easily unfollow you. I recommend posting 2 times per day on Instagram. Here’s why: You don’t want to be annoying. While you might provide tons of value, sometimes people would rather see their friends selfies than your product promotion.
Posting often is nothing without consistency. If you can’t post both consistently to maintain share of mind, posting frequently doesn’t matter You must, and I repeat MUST do both. If you post frequently but only do it for a day, you can get share of mind, but you can’t maintain it. You need to get their attention and then maintain it with consistency. You need to maintain attention for this reason: They might not want to buy now, but when they do, they will think of you.
Social media is called SOCIAL media for a reason. You MUST be engaging social media to get people hooked on your content. If you want to attract a following, show people that you are a real person. Show people that your account isn’t just a brand, but a real person.
Have A Good, Creative Bio
Another thing that can help you grow a following and, therefore, get attention is having a good, creative bio. Your bio is the thing that gets people to follow you. Your bio gets people loving your page when hey look at it for the first time. Be sure that you have a creative bio that gets people wanting to look at the content that you are pushing out and the things that you are creating.
In order to get an inflow of exposure for your content, you should leverage relevant hashtags. Find tags that you can use in your post that are relevant and that have an engaged community. Many things that you see out there will forget to mention that, while a tag might have a lot of posts, the tag might not have engagement. Be sure that you find a tag that has engagement and has a decent amount of posts. Then use those tags strategically in your posts.
I hope this article helps you grow your business and do better on Instagram. Remember to be great and never settle for anything less.
