Marketing Your Business On Youtube

Youtube is a powerful tool to increase customer engagement and brand awareness online. Youtube can even be used to drive traffic to your website. Today we are going to be talking about how you can use Youtube for marketing your business online.

Assess. You need to figure out if youtube is right for your business. Video is a powerful tool for most businesses, so you should be good there. You need to figure out a purpose for your marketing and figure out what type of content you are going to be producing. What do you do, and how can you help potential clients solve the problems that they are having. If you can figure this out, you have a beginning to your marketing plan.

Goals. When beginning to market somewhere, you need to set a clear goal. You need to have a goal with metrics that you can measure to see how far you have come in the future. This is very important. Be sure not to set vague goals like “I am going to use youtube go grow my business.” these don’t have a metric. BE more specific. Something like “I am going to use youtube to secure at least 5 more leads per month. I will use these leads to increase revenue for my business.” would be good.

Plan. Now that you have a goal, you need to create a plan to figure out how you are going to reach your goal. Figure out the steps that you are going to take to reach the goal that you set in the step above.

Create. Be creating video every chance you get. Be sure that you are creating content that people want to watch. People like to be entertained by your content. Your content doesn’t all need to be fun and games, but it can’t be too dry or boring. Be sure that you have great audio on your video. Audio can not be lacking and is one of the most important parts of your video. Be sure to connect your content on your website with your video. You want to have a way of getting people to your website so that you can get them interested in your offers. Be sure to continue to offer useful content on your website too. You don’t want people to leave because you were boring. Be sure that you produce videos that your customer base would like. Also, be sure that your videos allow for brand recognition and are consistent with your branding.

Optimize. Be sure that you optimize things like your title, description, and tags for a keyword. Pick a keyword that you would like to use and use in naturally in your title, description, and tags.

Analyze. Be sure that you track the links under the video. Figure out how people click the link in relation to how many people watch the video. How many people who click the link stay on your site for more than 1 minute? These are all important things that you should learn about and measure, so that you can tailor your videos to achieve your goals.
